Gonzalo and Maria, are two Sydney chefs deeply devoted to the art of cooking and the craftsmanship of knives. In October 2022, took a leap of faith and launched the Australian branch of the international company, japanese knives.

Ever since then, they have been bringing their love for Japanese knives to chefs and hobbyists all over Australia.

With links to suppliers in Seki and Sakai, the couple enjoy making trips to Japan to deepen relationships with crafspeople in Tokyo, Osaka and Gifu.
