The new "SKY Series" Blue Steel No.2 knives have a smooth matte blade finish and a forged Nashiji texture - an innovative approach that produces very consistent and reliable results, especially when combined with expert handwork and labor.
The mirror-polished #2 blue carbon steel blade core is clad in low-maintenance stainless steel and shaped into a sleek and practical Kiritsuke blade shape similar to a Santoku utility knife or Bunka. It´s well suited to a wide variety of cutting tasks.
Knife specs:
Blade core: Blue Steel No. 2
Heat treated to HRC. 61 to 62.
The double edge blade has a 50/50 symmetrical sharpening.
The polished, deep blue Pakkawood handle scales pair perfectly with Nashij's textured blue steel #2 Kiritsuke blade.
These knives also feature full tang construction, a forged stainless-steel bolster, and stainless-steel handle rivet.
