Our handmade SEKI MAE knives are made by our master craftsmen with high-level craftsmanship in Seki City, Japan. The core blade is Swedish 19C27 high carbon steel from SANDVIK, one of the ideal materials for knives. It is a steel material originally made to cut industrial products such as cardboard. It has elasticity, hard to break, and also resistant to oxidation. HRC is 59~60.

Wooden handle

The handle is made of rosewood, with 8 angles. The number eight is considered a lucky figure and is called "Suehirogari" in Japan, so it would be preferred in many ways. Not only that, Japanese traditional sword, "Katana" handle angle is also 8. According to battles, the 8 angle handle could be filled with great force. These SEKI MAE Knives are descended from architecture. Must have items for high level users.

Sharp edged blade

The core material, 19C27 steel, which is of high rigidity, toughness and durability, and 22 layers of stainless steel multi-layer parts are stacked on both sides of the core sheet. Heat treating, grinding, and honing the blade by experienced craftsmen extrapolated the inherent characteristics and advantages of steel, and the superbly sharp blade was born. Try to use extraordinarily sharp and beautiful knives produced by the highly skilled Japanese craftsman.
